International Buddha Peace Award & Gaurav Shri Samman Presented by His Excellency Governor of Assam in Guwahati

On a memorable evening dedicated to honoring service, compassion, and impactful leadership, the Maitry Peace Foundation organized its prestigious award ceremony on 2nd May 2025 in the culturally rich city of Guwahati, Assam. The event brought together changemakers from diverse fields—education, public health, environmental sustainability, and social welfare—united by their commitment to positive transformation.

The International Buddha Peace Award & Gaurav Shri Samman was graciously presented to each honoree by the Honourable Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya. In his inspiring address, the Governor commended the Maitry Peace Foundation for its role in uplifting community heroes and reinforcing the ideals of peace and social justice.
