For the first time ever, India’s culture has been showcased in Times Square, New York – a proud achievement for Chhattisgarh.
The popular garba festival Pankhida has been successfully organized for two consecutive years in Chhattisgarh. It has become a cultural landmark in the state, attracting film stars, social media influencers, and popular figures. Earlier editions featured Shehnaaz Gill, Elvish Yadav, Adah Sharma, Dwaindu Sharma aka MunnaBhaiya, among others.
The two-day event will be held on 23rd and 24th September 2025.
On 24th September, Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma will perform live on stage.
On 23rd September, a popular female celebrity will attend, with the details being kept confidential.
The event is hosted by Prajrajayam Group, Bilaspur, which has been dedicated to bringing Pankhida from state celebrations to international prominence.
